TIJUANA.- Months ago, Cosmopolitan Group announced that another new building would be part of the famous Ave. Revolución, and the new location will be to the side of the iconic Tijuanense Restaurant, "Chiki Jai."

This Basque-Spanish food restaurant opened in 1944, and now, the SIE7E building will be built to its side, which will have 19 floors.

"Chiki Jai" had their best years during the 40s and 50s, because Hollywood celebrities visited it very often for their quality.

While the construction is made, the restaurant will move half a block ahead on Seventh Street (Calle Séptima), then return to their traditional spot between Seventh Street and Av. Revolución.

The construction permits are accompanied by a commitment from the developer to "preserve as much as possible the walls and furniture of the CHIKI JAI restaurant.

SIE7E de Cosmopolitan Group will be ready by 2019 and the latest project to be part of the modernization in the Centro area of the Tijuana, right on the historic Avenida Revolución.
