For decades, Fuller has been a staple in the Chula Vista community and even south of the border in Tijuana due to the selling of several car brands and makes, including Ford, one of the most popular.
But the Fuller Era came to an end this past June 5, when Penske Dealer Group bought Fuller's dealerships to begin a new chapter, but with the same great team from Fuller Ford that for years gained the trust of thousands in both sides of the border.
Fuller Ford, Fuller Honda, Fuller Kia, and Fuller Collision Center in Chula Vista, will now be Penske Ford, Penske Honda, etc.
Penske Dealer is part of the larger Penske Automotive Group Inc. of Michigan, which began it's expansion into Southern California a few years ago.
They now have a total of 14 dealerships in the region, the most recent being those newly acquired from Fuller.
"Fuller Motors is one of the largest employers in the city of Chula Vista. A lot of effort was made on both sides of the negotiations to ensure a seamless transition for Fuller's employees," said CEO of Penske, Roger S. Penske Jr.
In 2016, Penske reported profits of up to $ 20 billion dollars, which has been used to continue its expansion to new markets, looking for new challenges.
Adolfo Labastida, a member of Penske Ford's sales team, invites all customers on both sides of the border to continue relying on Ford of Chula Vista. Being a resident of Tijuana, he knows the community well there as well as in Chula Vista and is ready to address people's doubts about any Ford car.
You can contact Adolfo Labastida at 52 664-628-41-50 from the U.S. or at 664 628 41 50 from Mexico. Email alabastida@aol.com.
