The competition, sponsored by companies such as Web Works, Grupo Expansión and Samsung, highlighted this Tijuana project among more than 19 projects selected from a total of 44 received by the jury.

The "Eazy Living Centro" project is coordinated by the architect Gustavo Gualajara and the director of Cosmopolitan Group, Arturo Pesqueira.

The proposal consists of rescuing an old building by reviving the historic center of Tijuana and applying a new business model in the region: the co-living, a term that designates buildings with individual departments, but which share common spaces and services such as light, water, cleaning and garbage collection, among others.

This is one of many projects that seek to change the image of the downtown area of Tijuana, which had a special mention in the event held in Monterrey on August 11 just for this particular objective.

That was how this project became one of the 3 works of Construction Impact Works in 2017.

The other two winners were Parque Tamosura and Punto Valle, from the cities of Cananea and Monterrey respectively, these in the categories of Building and Infrastructure.

It will be until 2018 when Eazy Living Centro, located at Calle Niños Héroes, begins operations in the city of Tijuana. Currently, they are remodeling of the space of Downtown Tijuana that will house this peculiar co-living.
