The Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) has been rated as one of the best universities in the country and Latin America.

The Director of the Institution, Dr. Juan Manuel Ocegueda Hernández, shared in his Facebook page an image where he shows the recognition.

The school was recognized by the company TES Global Limited within the Time Higher Education Latin America University Ranking, where quality was rated and ranked 6th among the best public universities in Mexico , and was the number one of the northwestern universities.

The university is celebrating its 60th anniversary and this month gave the opportunity to a new generation of students to become cimarrones (bighorn sheeps, the school's mascot), and pursue a university career.
