Mitofsky poll ranks Marina del Pilar as the best female governor of Mexico

The governor of Baja California ended 2022 with some of the highest approval ratings among all Mexican governors

The governors of Mexico were rated by their citizens in a new poll by Ranking Mitofsky, who measured the approval ratings of the population regarding public officials for December 2022.

The data was collected from brief polls carried out on smartphone devices with Internet access. In total, 46,986 citizens were polled in December, which resulted in the following results.

Generally speaking, the governor of Baja California ended 2022 as the governor with the 6th highest approval rating in Mexico. With 56.6%, Marina del Pilar was ranked in the first few places of highest-approved governors of Mexico. The first place was taken by the governor of Coahuila, Miguel Riquelme, with an approval rating of 63.4%.

Marina del Pilar was ranked 1st place in the “Best Female Governors” category. Since she took office, this has become the norm for Marina del Pilar, as she has always been ranked in the first few places. As such, the governor ended 2022 as the best female governor of Mexico with an approval rating of 56.6%. The governor of Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuellar, was ranked in 2nd place.

In addition, she was ranked #3 among the best MORENA governors, following Ricardo Gallardo Cardona of San Luis Potosí, with an approval rating of 58.8% and Rubén Rocha Moya of Sonora with an approval rating of 58.7%.

Throughout the 14 months she has been the head of Baja California, Marina del Pilar has paid attention to areas that were completely ignored by previous administrations, which has made the Baja Californian people trust her words.
