Jaime Eduardo Cantón Rocha was appointed by the Elected Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, as Private Secretary, due to his professional experience and skills shown in his extensive career within the public administration.
Recently, Cantón Rocha served as Social Networks Coordinator of Marina del Pilar's campaign for Governor of the State, which culminated in the resounding victory on June 6, which consolidated the Fourth Transformation in the state, and even after that he has continued to perform similar activities in the Governor Elect's team.
The young man from Mexicali has a Law Degree from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), and has specialized studies in Electoral Law and Human Rights, which is considered an ideal combination for the position of Private Secretary, a key figure within the Incoming State Public Administration.
Likewise, he has served in various positions in the City Hall of Mexicali, the Congress of the State of Baja California and the Congress of the Union, in addition to having been a promoter of various specialized services. In addition to that, he has performed well as a student leader, leading the Law School Alumni Society between 2016 and 2018, while also serving as a university counselor.
Highlights such as winning the National Political Rights Debate Competition at the Inter-American Academy of Human Rights also add to his personal record.
In addition to specialized courses in Political Communication, his role as political editorialist of the Program "Ciudadano 2.0" together with journalist Gustavo Macalpin in Channel 66 and Radiorama Mexicali, adds to his notable career as well as other outstanding participations.
