"The children of the border was a special research report on the grounds that more and more Hispanic residents become agents of the border patrol, because they want to improve the quality of life, have better job opportunities, and better salary; however, in doing this work, they face the rejection of their own community, which sees them as a kind of "traitors," because they are joining a corporation that is responsible for deporting their own " said the young award winner in an interview.

Fajardo is a communicologist who seeks to contribute in the community with his investigations, who at the same tiem, indicates that the training he had in his passage through the university was completely humanistic and that is why he feels capable of carrying out this type of social advocacy projects.
