Marina del Pilar administration assists more than 623,000 people through mobile health units

The state governor stated that these units are part of a comprehensive strategy to bring medical care directly to the Baja Californian population at large

The mobile units from the Secretariat of Health of Baja California have managed to reach and provide care to a total of 623,934 people through 174,493 services in 136 locations in the 7 municipalities of the state. This was reported by Governor Marina del Pilar.

The state governor stated that these units are part of a comprehensive strategy to bring medical care directly to the Baja Californian population at large.

For his part, the Secretary of Health, José Adrián Medina Amarillas, added that between Tuesday, March 19 and Saturday, March 23 there will be mobile health units in San Quintin, Valle de Mexicali, and Tijuana.

In San Quintin, units will be enabled from Tuesday, March 19 to Saturday, March 23 from 7 AM to 4 PM in Parque Villa Jesús María located next to Delegación Villa Jesús María.

Meanwhile in Mexicali they will be open from Wednesday, March 20 to Saturday, March 23 from 7 AM to 4 PM at Salón Ejidal del Ejido Cuernavaca in Carretera Mexicali-San Luis Río Colorado in the corner with Leonardo Prado. In Tijuana, it will be open from 8 AM to 4 PM at Rancho Jireh, located at Carretera Antigua a Tecate Kilómetro 28.5 Número 240, in Colonia Lomas del Valle.

"People are being invited to come here and take advantage of the free services that are being offered in order to detect and promptly treat several different diseases," the state official said.
