Intense cold will continue through this week in Tijuana; rain will return on Thursday

Cold weather will continue for what’s left of this week and the next

Rain in Tijuana hasn’t stopped since Saturday, January 14 where series of intense downpours, cold, and strong winds were present in the region. Though on Tuesday, January 17 they have had a considerable drop, cold hasn’t stopped at all, as today was one of the coldest days of the week.

According to The Weather Channel, starting at 1 PM, chances of rain will drop to 8%; however, temperatures will also drop, reaching a maximum temperature of 13°C (55°F) (in contrast with other days in which this was the minimum temperature) and it will drop all the way down to 7°C (45°F).

On Wednesday, January 18, there will be no drastic change as the maximum estimated temperature will be 14°C (57°F) , while the minimum will be 6°C (43°F). On Thursday, January 19 a series of downpours is expected in the afternoon as rainfall chances are 39%.

It should be noted that for what’s left of the week and the next weather conditions will remain quite cold, with maximum temperatures ranging from 14°C to 17°C (57°F to 63°F) ; while temperatures will drop in the evenings and early mornings between 5°C to 9°C (41°F to 48°F).
