Mexican man triumphs with roasted chicken business in Hollywood streets

Oaxaca native Anquilino García decided to open a roasted chicken business in LA’s most famous boulevard

Mexican Anquilino García Pérez has gone viral after opening a modest roasted chicken stand in the streets of Hollywood, the most famous neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, known for being the capital of entertainment and the film industry.

Like thousands of Latinos, the young man from Oaxaca sells roasted chickens from Thursday to Tuesday, preparing his knob, griddle, and a long table with the necessary utensils to cook what needs to be cooked.

Residents have been delighted with this delicious Mexican food, as the stand is completely crowded by people anxious to eat chicken at noon.

Before coming to the US, Aquilino worked for 5 years as a military soldier, but he decided to request his discharge to go to the United States and meet up with his wife who was waiting for him.

He claimed that “the truth is I don’t know anything about the city permits and I would like to get one. I am just waiting to save up some money to pay for it.”

Lastly, the chef concluded that this is just the beginning, because he would like to have an established business of roasted dishes in the future, however, he said that he would do this calmly, step by step.
