Marina del Pilar and Armando Ayala join efforts to improve infrastructure in Ensenada

The governor of Baja California reiterated her commitment to work with the Municipal Administration of Ensenada to improve the quality of life of Baja Californian families

Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, governor of Baja California, stressed the coordination that the Municipal Administration of Ensenada has implemented, led by mayor Armando Ayala Robles, with the goal of moving forward regarding assistance for local families’ needs, mainly when it comes to road infrastructure.

The governor attended the beginning of the restoration of Juárez Avenue, carried out by municipal authorities as it is one of the most important roads in Ensenada for the mobility it represents.

Marina del Pilar highlighted that this project has been expected by Ensenada natives for years and she highlighted the efforts by Ensenada mayor, Armando Ayala Robles to create the necessary budgetary managements to develop projects that are part of the RESPIRA program that is being developed by the Secretary of Infrastructure, Urban Development, and Territory Redesign (SIDURT) of Baja California.

In addition, the governor of Baja California reiterated their willingness to coordinate with the government of Ensenada to handle the necessary social demands to improve the quality of life of Ensenada citizens from several points of view.

“Today we have a cleaner, more efficient, and more functional Ensenada, a modern Ensenada, an Ensenada where the private sector wants to invest, in one of the most beautiful municipalities of our country,” Marina del Pilar said in her speech to the people of Ensenada.

For his part, mayor Armando Ayala stated that all progress is possible thanks to the agreements with the people of Ensenada, as well as the support from the government of Baja California. He pointed out that the projects that are being developed improve the experience both of residents and visitors, and boost the development of communities through infrastructure.

“In this first year, the governor authorized 60 million pesos to help us improve our streets by restoring several different floors at Reforma Boulevard, Ámbar Street, Nueve Street, the restoration of concrete at Los Lagos Boulevard, Estancia, Paseo de las Flores Street, Riveroll Avenue, Gastélum Avenue. There are 16 projects that have improved the state of our avenues. The assistance that we have received from the state government we are turning it into things that our people can see,” Armando Ayala said.

Lastly, the governor stated the commitment of the government of Baja California to support the management led by municipal president Armando Ayala Robles, especially in key issues to build wellbeing and promote the development of this municipality.

“We have been able to build to benefit the people of Ensenada, we have always put the people of Ensenada at the center of our public policies, because we have always put our heart above all for the people of Ensenada,” Marina del Pilar said.
