Landslide in Centinela-La Rumorosa highway blocks traffic

FIARUM personnel and the National Guard are working on the area to free up traffic as soon as possible

The Public Trust Administration of Funds and Investment for Highway Roads (FIARUM) posted on their official Facebook page about a landslide that occurred at the Centinela-La Rumorosa highway.

This occurred on the descending side of the highway and has blocked traffic; the ascending side of the highway will continue to be open. According to the information revealed, FIARUM personnel and the National Guard are currently working on the area.

There is rain in this mountainous area and winds are currently at 60 km/h with gusts of 70 km/h, which is why people have been asked to take the necessary preventive measures.

Rain arrived in Tijuana just as it had been forecasted a few days ago due to Hurricane Kay. It is expected that rain becomes more intense in the next few hours.
