Those who fail to register unregistered automobiles in Baja California may face severe consequences

There are around 500 thousand foreign-made automobiles in Baja California

The directive to regularize unimported automobiles in ten states of the Mexican Republic, including Baja California, where it is believed that over 500 thousand cars of foreign origin, went into effect on Wednesday. They are asking the citizenry to carry out the procedure.

These persons are expected to carry out the procedure, according to federal government delegate Jess Alejandro Ruiz Uribe, who also pointed out that the directive is applicable for foreign automobiles and that only one car per person may be regularized.

Ruiz Uribe emphasized that it is desired that all automobiles be regularized and that if they do not, a hard hand would be used to them. For this reason, they are managing policies so that cars of foreign origin that circulate in the condition may be removed in the future.

He also mentioned that the purpose of this decree is to reduce insecurity because there are many vehicles with foreign license plates that are used to commit crimes such as murder and robbery. As a result, this process will be handled by the Security Secretariat, which will issue a certificate to be taken to rent collection, where they will be given the plaque.
