For the second time since the epidemic began, Mexico's President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, has indicated that he has moderate symptoms and would remain in isolation after undergoing a Covid-19 test. "I am infected with # COVID19," the president tweeted on social media, "and while the symptoms are modest, I will remain in isolation and will only perform office work and interact digitally till I get ahead."
Informo a ustedes que estoy contagiado de #COVID19 y aunque los síntomas son leves, permaneceré en aislamiento y solo realizaré trabajo de oficina y me comunicaré de manera virtual hasta salir adelante.

As he recovers from the sickness, he said that the Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López Hernández, will represent him in news conferences and other occasions.
It should be remembered that at his press conference on Monday, January 10, he noted that the president was suffering from signs of the deadly virus, admitting that he was hoarse but that he thought it was just the flu because he had no other symptoms.
López Obrador has had his booster vaccine, with the most recent application scheduled for December 7, 2021, the day he began the booster vaccination day for older individuals.
