In less than 24 hours, Baja California has confirmed 433 positive Covid-19 cases

Since the pandemic's start, there have been a total of 88 thousand 771 positive cases

Just one day before the Christmas holidays, the state of Baja California experiences a surge in active Covid-19 infections, following many days of a declining trend. In just 24 hours, more than 400 cases of the virus have been verified in the state.

Until Thursday's deadline, 433 positive cases had been verified in a single day, with the municipality of Tijuana accounting for the majority of the infections, with a total of 2,332 active cases, or those who potentially spread the fatal illness to others.

According to statistics given by the Ministry of Health, a total of 88 thousand 771 positive cases have been amassed since the start of the pandemic, with 10 thousand 727 fatalities as a result, with 15 deaths from Covid-19 being recorded in only one day.

As a result, the agency reminded inhabitants that Baja California is still under a yellow traffic light, and they encouraged them to relax their guard, especially over the holidays when there will be family reunions, to prevent the virus from spreading throughout the state.

The general public is being urged to visit one of the many vaccination locations to receive the Covid.19 vaccine to avert a significant disease outbreak, as more than 90% of individuals who develop problems are not immunized.
