Marina del Pilar challenges the Mexicali Bar Association's board of directors

The Governor, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, opposed the new Board of Directors of the Mexicali Bar Association, which will preside over the executive post from 2022 to 2024, with Fernando Manuel Castro Fregoso.

The state president emphasized the necessity of a well-organized institution that aims to professionalize its members while also connecting lawyers and society.

"It is incumbent to us, as leaders, to protect the laws and ensure that they are followed in both the public and private realms. Lawyers have a job that best expresses itself in the service of society, "Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda was quoted as saying.

She said that as a lawyer, she appreciates the job that the institution and its more than 380 members undertake in the state capital, and she thanked outgoing President Rosendo Cervantes for his accomplishments.
