In Mexicali, Marina del Pilar gives the opening clap for the film "Until the End of the World."

The film will be shot in Baja California more than 90% of the time, showcasing the region's cinematic potential

The Governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, had the honor of cutting the first clapperboard of the filming of "Hasta el Fin del Mundo," co-produced by the Baja California, Gabriel del Valle, and starring the successful Mexican actress Aislinn Derbez, as part of her commitment to the creative industries and the promotion of the state as an ideal space for various types of investments.

The filming began this Friday afternoon at the Laguna Salada to the west of the city, just a few meters from the highway connecting Mexicali and Tijuana. In these other locations, the film will be shot.

Aislinn Derbez produces the film, Luisa Gómez de Silva, Laura Arvizu, and Emiliano Castro Vizcarra, all of whom have extensive experience and will be able to demonstrate the advantages that Baja California has to offer to film producers from all over the world, with a particular focus on California investors one of the most heavily filmed places on the planet.

The drama, comedy, and romance film is about a Mexican's experience, and it depicts a narrative of love and enthusiasm for life, as well as the value of self-knowledge and self-improvement, according to the directors.

The producers will record a sample of the feature film between November 30 and December 4 in order to promote the state with those who are ready to bring the state to their filming and take use of the numerous situations accessible to the entity.

Governor Marina del Pilar was chosen to kick off the filming because of her strong desire to support the industry, stating to the president that more than 90% of the project would be completed in Baja California and using state workers, providing a much-needed boost to the Baja California economy.
