Marina del Pilar celebrates the federal government's accomplishments in Baja, California

She praised the historical progress of López Obrador's social initiatives

Governor Marina del Pilar vila Olmeda hosted the second edition of "Morning Wednesday with Marina del Pilar" on December 2 to keep Baja Californians informed and demonstrate the government's openness.

The President spoke to the journalists present from the Governors' Room of the Baja California Executive Power Building in Mexicali on the support shown by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, and the state's labor justice situation.

The Secretary of Health, José Adrián Medina Amarillas, the Secretary of Education, Gerardo Arturo Sols Benavides, the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare, Alejandro Arregui Ibarra, the Secretary of the Treasury, Marco Moreno Mexa, and the Senior Official of the Government of Baja California, Roco López Gorosave, all joined the Governor in this Transparency exercise.

Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda stated in her message that President López Obrador has decided to visit Baja California on December 11, as he informed her last Wednesday, December 1, during the celebration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador's three years as President, which marked the beginning of Mexico's Fourth Transformation of public life.

She emphasized the historical advances of López Obrador's social policies, which have managed to directly benefit students of all educational levels while not neglecting people with disabilities and the elderly, who receive federal government support regularly. The state administration will also contribute.

Regarding the pandemic, Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda stated that the epidemiological risk had been reduced from orange to yellow thanks to the efforts of health personnel and the determination and discipline of the Baja California society. However, the situation forces us to continue protecting with the appropriate measures.

She also immediately reported on the entity's progress in implementing the Labor Reform, spending the necessary resources to ensure that employees receive rapid and expedient justice, particularly with the opening of the Baja California Labor Conciliation Center.
