On Monday, November 8, the US government lifted border restrictions regarding non-essential border crossing into the United States. However, during the first day, there were no long lines for vehicles and pedestrians, the following days, they met all expectations, and this Monday was not an exception.

Facebook group users from “Como esta la línea Tijuana,” which people cross the United States border for different reasons, update the current wait-time for various ports of entry and inform which port of entry is more convenient.

These users have reported long waiting for lines in the vehicle lines to enter the United States through the San Ysidro gate; this has been seen since early hours on Monday, while pedestrian lines show smooth traffic with little waiting time.

According to various reports by these users, they have done up to 5 hours of line to enter through the Otay checkpoint, while the San Ysidro checkpoint line is circling Parque Morelos
