Marina del Pilar's government in Baja California to work in coordination with federal policies

In order to address issues related to the future of Baja California, the Governor-elect held a meeting with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador

Marina del Pilar, Governor-elect of Baja California and Andrés Manuel López Obrador, President of the Mexican Republic, met at the National Palace to address public policies in order to maintain coordination between the state and the federation in the coming years.

A little more than two weeks before taking office, the Governor-elect thanked President López Obrador on her social media for opening the doors of his office and for the personal willingness of him and the members of his cabinet to attend to the priority projects of the next government.

Likewise, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda made reference to the visit Andrés Manuel López Obrador will make to Baja California between this Friday, October 15 and Sunday, October 17, in which he will visit six of the state's municipalities, and showed her total willingness to receive him with kindness in the state that has had the best results of the Fourth Transformation in recent years.

"It fills me with pride to have confirmed once again that we will not fail you, nor the people, nor the movement, and I thank you once again for all your support towards me and the people of Baja California", said the first woman to govern Baja California, about the meeting held at the presidential office, a few hours before the tour of the state.

In the same sense, the Governor-elect highlighted the need to coordinate state and federal public policies, in order to strengthen them and generate schemes that can be duplicated for the benefit of the majority, such as the support given to senior citizens and people with disabilities.

In addition, he emphasized that the representatives of the Fourth Transformation in the different branches and levels of government intend to remain in unity, as these are principles that have proven to work to eradicate corruption and regenerate national public life, and Baja California has been no exception.

It is worth remembering that the President of Mexico will arrive in Mexicali this Friday, October 15, to conclude the day in the Magical Town of Tecate, and will continue his tour in the state in the municipalities of San Quintin and Ensenada on Saturday, October 16. On Sunday, October 17, he will visit Playas de Rosarito to review advances in water works and will conclude his tour at the General Hospital of Tijuana (HGT).
