Tijuana will invest in 107 infrastructure and road rehabilitation projects

Mayor Karla Ruiz Macfarland announced that the Tijuana City Hall will invest millions of pesos in infrastructure

Economic resources will be destined to 107 infrastructure works, as informed by the Tijuana City Hall, headed by the first female president of the municipality, Karla Ruiz Macfarland. These projects will be destined to a large number of construction works that will benefit close to 200 thousand Tijuana residents.

The investment will consist of 165 million 734 thousand pesos and will be exclusively for social infrastructure such as sports facilities, equipment and support for disabled access, community development centers, public parks, plazas, sidewalks, paving, electrification, educational infrastructure and street lighting.

Above all, road projects have been highlighted and among the most benefited areas due to the investment and projects are the section of Del Abeto Avenue to Altamirano, as well as Del Manzano Street to Del Prado in the Villa del Prado I subdivision, which is 73% complete.

Likewise, the reconstruction with pavement of 7 thousand 225 square meters of the old road to Tecate-Mexicali, in its Second Stage and in the Third Stage of the Tijuana River and El Rosario Boulevard has been invested. This last project will last 150 days, according to the official website of the City Hall, and will improve the perception of the city to strengthen tourism in the region.
