There will be no restrictions for Easter Week: Baja California Secretary of Health

Regardless of the day or the festivities, the Secretary asked the population to be responsible and take care of themselves.

When questioned about the possibility of restricting or limiting the capacity of some activities in Baja California due to the Easter Week season, which runs from March 28 to April 3, Secretary of Health Alonso Perez Rico, said that those currently allowed will be respected.

"What will we do? We will apply the revision of safety and health protocols," he said.

In addition, he commented that regardless of the day or festivities, the population must be responsible, take care of themselves and respect prevention measures. "Let's remember, what we don't want is to fall back to red, to orange, a setback; so let's take care of ourselves," he said.

At the same time, he reaffirmed that "no, there will be no restrictions, what there will be is a lot of supervision", assuring that both the Epidemiology and Health Promotion departments of this agency will be in charge of such verifications during this period.

According to what he mentioned, at the moment in conjunction with Coepris, some businesses of different types are being reviewed, which could be closed as a result of the investigations.
