"Tijuana al Fresco" will return this 2021 to the famous Avenida Revolucion to continue with the economic reactivation, this after having to pause the project in November due to the epidemiological traffic light for COVID-19 in which Baja California found itself.

Starting Friday, March 5th and during all weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), from 12:00 noon until midnight, locals and tourists will be able to enjoy dishes and drinks from at least 15 businesses that will be part of this initiative.

From Fourth Street to Seventh Street, vehicular traffic will be suspended on the avenue, allowing access on all alternate streets, in order to avoid traffic congestion, and allow the enjoyment of "Tijuana al Fresco".

Let's remember that thanks to this project the establishments can extend up to the sidewalk area, and added to this, currently the restaurants are allowed a 75% capacity.

"We are considering that with this type of project we can reactivate and recover up to 30 or 40% during the days it is carried out", highlighted Julian Palombo, president of the tourist merchants of the Avenue.

It is important to remember that health authorities will announce next Monday the new protocols that these businesses will have to follow, since they consider that they must be renewed, since the state is no longer in the same conditions as when it was elaborated.
