Nearly 3 thousand 500 adults over 60 years old to receive vaccination in Tecate

As part of his daily report, this Saturday the head of the Secretariat of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, informed that 21 thousand 743 adults aged 60 and over have been vaccinated in the rural areas of Baja California, of which 3 thousand 445 were from Tecate.

Let's remember that the vaccination of this sector of the population in Tecate began last Thursday, February 25.

Of the other areas, 8 thousand 896 were vaccinated in Valle de Mexicali, 6 thousand 655 in San Quintin, one thousand 500 in San Felipe, 500 in the Deep South, 309 in Erendira and Santo Tomas, as well as 291 in Valle de la Trinidad, and 147 more in Isla de Cedros.

According to the Secretary, today the vaccination in the magical town of Tecate will continue in the following three sites:

-Tecate (Teatro de la Ciudad)
-Rumorosa (Health Center)
-Valle de las Palmas (Health Center)

On the other hand, Perez Rico mentioned that today they will also vaccinate about 600 health workers in the private sector, of which only 540 have received their first dose in the past days, who were contacted thanks to the statewide census.

Finally, he added that about 20 thousand vaccines from Sinovac arrived yesterday, which will be destined to finish with the town of Maneadero and start with Ensenada, as he indicated.
