Reopening of cemeteries, billiards and other activities in Baja California authorized

As of today, these activities may be open to the public once their sanitary protocol has been submitted.

The head of the Secretariat of Health of Baja California, Alonso Perez Rico, notified this Wednesday that cemeteries, billiards, circuses and fairs are authorized to reopen with a 30% capacity as of today.

However, for this they must first implement a safety and health protocol, for which the authorities invited them to approach the Health Services Jurisdiction, to jointly analyze their situation.

In addition to these activities, the churches that are located in the neighborhoods with more active cases, those that are presented every Tuesday, in spite of having such cases, from next March 3 they will be able to open, but with a 25% of capacity, because let's remember that the authorized capacity in the rest of these religious centers is 50%.

"We would ask them to keep precisely that capacity, because if it is detected that this capacity is not complied with and they remain with their regular capacity, which is 50%, they will be closed in a very prolonged period of time, to put it in a way", said Perez Rico.

Finally, he added that despite the fact that the 14 days following Valentine's Day are coming to an end, the trends continue to be favorable, despite the fact that "active cases are increasing but not to a level that worries us enough to reduce capacity or limit activities".
