Given the doubts that arose on the part of restaurants and the general population about the closure of restaurant-bars, announced last Wednesday by Baja California's Health Secretary Alonso Pérez Rico, the doctor clarified the situation during his daily report.

"The bars that were given, when we were at another time, permission to open up as restaurants have to close. By bars we mean clubs, strip clubs and bars," he said.

Thus, the head of this agency said that all restaurants can continue operating at a 30% capacity, while bars posing as restaurants have to suspend their activities.

"Right now that joint, that table, those restaurants that historically are not restaurants and that are bars, and we all know that they are bars, have to close," he reaffirmed.

In addition, Pérez Rico mentioned that casinos do not enter into these closings.

As of this morning, Baja California has 870 active cases, 35 thousand and 33 accumulated positive cases, and 5 thousand 717 deaths from COVID-19. According to the Secretary, the entity will continue to run under red light next week.
