According to the report on COVID-19 presented this Wednesday by Baja California's Health Secretary, Alonso Pérez Rico, the state has accumulated 29 thousand 335 positive cases.

Among the age groups that have been most confirmed with coronavirus in the state are adults over 65 years old, who total 4 thousand and 6; while the second group is young adults between 30 and 34 years old, which accumulate 3 thousand 403.

"There is not a single group that is not infected," said Pérez Rico, and he added, "the entire working class is taken in relation to the fact that we can get infected and sick and in this sense we can lose the battle; that is why everyone is invited to take care of themselves".

In presenting a table with the various occupations where positive cases of COVID-19 have been registered, the Secretary mentioned that "employees" include manufacture workers, who represent 30% of the total 8 thousand 758 infections.

Other occupations that have reported the most confirmed cases are home care and nurses, with 3 thousand 598 and 2 thousand and 91, respectively.
