Tijuana has only 95 active coronavirus cases

In total, almost 12 thousand positive cases have been confirmed in Baja California

Until Sunday July 19, the Head of the Department of Health Alonso Perez Rico and the current governor of Baja California announced the update of the coronavirus situation in the state.

Currently the Mexican country registers more than 338 thousand positive cases.

The state of Baja California has 11 thousand 928 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 2 thousand 234 deaths caused by this virus, as well as 602 active cases. The reported cases and deaths are distributed in the state as follows:

  • T[b][b][/b]ijuana 3 thousand 483 with 95 active cases[/b]
  • Mexicali 6 thousand 350 with 274 active cases
  • Ensenada one thousand 244 with 159 active cases
  • Tecate 268 with 6 active cases
  • Rosarito 144 with 8 active cases
  • San Quintin/Vicente Guerrero 264 with 33 active cases
  • San Felipe 175 with 27 active cases

Of the 2 thousand 348 confirmed deaths in the state, the city of Tijuana has 996, Mexicali has 115, Ensenada 143, Tecate 70, Rosarito 13, San Quintin/Vicente Guerrero 10 and San Felipe 1.

The state of Baja California remains in red light, although the federal government announced that from tomorrow Baja Californians could enjoy the new normal under orange light.
