The National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) reported that a sign will be placed on the Cerro Colorado with the name of Tijuana in the Hollywood style, just as the sign located in Los Angeles, California.

It is important to highlight that it is not the first time that some idea is taken from the city of Los Angeles to replicate it in Tijuana. The famous walk of the stars located on Avenida Revolución is one of them, where artists like Juan Gabriel, Susana Zabaleta, and Panteon Rococo unveiled their stars, among others.

In recent years, the Cerro Colorado has become a tourist attraction of the city due to its spectacular view, from which you can see Tijuana, part of Rosarito, and San Diego.

The sculpture is planned to be installed at the highest point so that people who arrive to that site can take the picture with the sign. What remains to be seen is whether the ad will have the same characteristics as the others found in the city (colorful and Mexican).
